Our Island Chickens
Last Summer, as our 09 campers are aware, we housed three chickens on Ram Island. They were a constant source of entertainment and, as an added bonus, ate their share of Island bugs as well as our household food scraps.
Jeff built them a luxury condo on the mainland for the winter and they continue to lay eggs regularly… a testament to their contentedness.
