The Councilor in Training Program is a fee-based training program aimed at the older camper who has shown aptitude and interest in Gloucester Museum School Project Adventure camp activities. This program offers  leadership training  in all of our activities and guidance in working with children outdoors in a non-competitive environment. C.I.T.’s will be learning  in a nurturing and supportive environment while having fun.

The C.I.T. program runs all four sessions. All potential C.I.T.s will need to fill out an application and go through an interview process before being chosen for this program. This is a limited space program due to its nature and only serious applicants can be considered. Download the CIT Application here. Along with the CIT application  also fill out the registration form from the Home page and the health history form and mail these to GMS PO Box 6046. Gloucester, MA 01930.  Upon acceptance, you will need to fill out all of the forms under Parents – forms, as your child will be considered a camper.  The State rules require all forms be completed prior to the start of camp. Thank you!

All applicants will need to obtain working papers from their local school systems to participate in this program.
